Boys Annual Ski Trip

Jeremy left yesterday to work a couple of days in Denver and for his annual boys trip. They are supposed to be staying in the house in Colorado, but a storm blew in yesterday morning. Jeremy got stuck because the interstates shut down and had to book a hotel outside of Breckenridge. Late lastnight, the guys arrived but couldn't make it to the hotel because the interstate was still shut down. I think Jeremy was too excited to wait for them today. He just called from the mountain. He is out snowboarding alone. He was so excited because no one was out, and the snow is perfect. We hope the guys get to meet up soon. I know they were looking forward to getting together. (They exchanged emails before, to make their grocery list.)

Izzy and I miss Jeremy so much! We hope they have a fun and safe trip.

Isabella's First Christmas!

Isabella went to visit Memaw in her new Christmas outfit that Bebe made for her. Jeremy and I took Izzy to see Santa for the very first time. We waited in a long line, while Izzy watched all the children and festivities with bright eyes. By the time we reached our turn to see Santa, she was sound asleep on Jeremy's shoulder. So much for a perfect first picture with Santa! We had to take a lot of pictures in this beautiful Christmas dress that Bebe smocked for Izzy. She will not be able to wear it next year! We looked forward to Christmas and had a wonderful time. However, I think Izzy will appreciate it much more next year! She is growing so fast!

Trip to Naples!

Isabella is growing so much! She and I were able to go with Jeremy on one of his business trips to Naples, Florida. This was Izzy's first plane ride! She did great. Of course, we had to take a lot of pictures. I haven't updated the blog in a while, so enjoy the new pictures!

The hotel had a crib and gifts waiting for her in the room when we arrived. Izzy's first sunset! (She didn't get to see it because I wouldn't let her near the balcony.) Izzy got comfortable in our bed..... then went to sleep in hers. Izzy and dad at the pool We got a bite to eat before taking her for a swim. The water was very interesting for Izzy. This was Izzy lounging on the beach under a umbrella.

The beach was Izzy's favorite part of the trip!
