Annual Cookie Decorating!

Once again, we had another successful cookie decorating party. Each year, I try to get a bit more organized. As I was posting these pictures, I just noticed that Izzy had her Snow White costume on. That seems pretty random when you look at the kids in all their cute Christmas outfits.

Poppy's Celebration Dinner

We got great news for Dad's doctor! His test results revealed a decrease in size of his tumors! We took Dad out to a restaurant across from Opryland to celebrate. Our table was right next to the stage, so the kids loved it! The band heard that we were celebrating and dedicated a song to Dad. It was a wonderful night!

Halloween

Jeremy had to go to Abu Dhabi for a week in October. We were worried about him going because Chloe was about to crawl. Of course, right when he left she began crawling, but thanks to the iphone, he was able to witness it!

When he got back, we took the girls to Gentry's Farm. Izzy loves going there every year. It is so much fun! We always get our pumpkins there and carve them that night. Jeremy's pumpkin had wow wow wubzy on it and mine was carved to look like Dora. I thought Izzy would love to help me carve that design, but she was only interested for about 5 minutes.

For Halloween, the girls were dragons. Corey and Caleb came to stay with us the night of Trunk or Treat. Since Jeff and Deltah were out of town, we asked them to let us keep the boys. The night was very exciting because tornadoes were all over middle Tennessee. I made the boys get in my closet every time the alarms went off. I think they thought I was crazy!

This was our first year to make a trunk with our 7th graders at church. Our theme was Alice in Wonderland. The whole area turned out great!

Izzy's 3rd Birthday

We are so lucky to have Grandparents and family that spoil and love our girls. You will see what I mean from the slideshow below. The weekend before Izzy's birthday, NawNa and Grampy came in to visit the girls and help celebrate Izzy's 3rd birthday. We did a lot of fun stuff including going to Chuckie Cheeses.

On Monday, we had Izzy's party. I decided to take a year off from having parties at the house, so we had the party at Peek-a-boo Playtown. It was so easy! All I had to do was provide party favors, decorations and the cake. Peek-a-boo provided everything else including pizza. The theme was Princess, so I made all the kids crowns to wear. (This ended up being more time consuming than I thought.... you live you learn!) Our cake lady made a awesome castle cake with all the princesses pictures in the windows, including the main princess, Izzy!

That night, Mom and Dad threw Izzy a party at their house for our cousins that couldn't make it during the day. Izzy got a ton of presents, including a vet dress-up kit, but her favorite part of the night was playing with all her cousins. (By the way Scott, I just wanted to point out that there is a picture of Caitlin doing her own homework!)
